Auto Vacuum Prime System
Selectric introduces a dependable vacuum priming system for centrifugal pumps.
Now, there is an alternative to those inefficient self-priming pumps, expensive short coupled turbines, and bulky wet pit sump pumps.
This very simple system centers around our priming sensor chamber which turns the vacuum pump on and off to maintain prime.
Auto-vacuum priming is not new and has been used in the past with limited success. Most problems have centered around the priming sensor device, either being stuck, plugged with solids, or just generally undependable. Selectric’s unique system and priming sensor has proved successful, not only in fresh water, but in raw sewage and food handling applications. Installed properly, we feel it is the ultimate in auto-vacuum priming.
